Copyrighting.

Can people own more than their shirt and car? Yes indeed they can. If they have come up with some great ideas and doesn’t want someone else to take the credit of the idea, they should copyright them. Being artistic is a job; people put time, effort and talent for making them.

Had I written a beautiful song, I wouldn’t like it if someone else took the credit and got famous for my creativity. They stole it from me, and it’s a crime. So be aware, if you broadcast things to be yours and its not, you are a criminal. You can show things that aren’t yours, but then the author's name and source shall be mentioned with it. My beautiful song is an intellectual property and my shirt is a physical property. I own both, but the difference is that I have to claim the copyright for my song. The shirt I buy from a store. 

Explanation of copyright.

For to copyright things I must contact World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), this is an organisation established of UN in 1967. An organisation which courage creativity thoughts and protects the intellectual property around the world. This mean it protects the work people make. If you have written a book, song, novel and so on, you should copyright it. If you do so, you own it. If not, someone could steel it from you. 


For to have some further reading about (WIPO), I can suggest a coupple of pages. Theese are the pages: Wikipedia, WIPO and icannwiki. I really suggest you take a look at theese pages, and read some more. It is an important subject everyone should know about. 

A man steals Intellectual Property.

To buy software cost a lot of money. If you need some software occasionally, it is a big cost. Today you have the opportunity to rent software for a period of time. Creative Cloud-membership gives you access to applications like Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe and so on… This way you don’t have to be criminal and steel the software from someone. There are people who have made them and copyrighted the software.

Software is difficult to share, but an example it would be nice if they were able to share their licenses for some software, are in public schools. They have software which isn’t so much in use all time. It's only wish thinking that it's possible to share software between schools, like free software among them. ”Friprogsenteret” is a competence center for free software.There are many sites it's possible to download free software or get more information. I listed up some pages that is about WIPO over the film.

In the end I want to summarize:

If you came up with something new, it doesn't matter if it is a beautiful song, a book, or something you has built. It is yours, no matter. Then you should copyright it. If not someone can steel it from you, and make money of it. You shouldn't undo to other either. There is laws against it, and you could come in jail for it.

Is it easy to become a IT-criminal?

Information privacy who is the main subject here, can also be called data privacy.There are various types of personal information that often come under privacy concerns. It can be information like internet, medical, financial, political or legality and so on.

Doing ethical correct things is people who do good, correct and dignity things, which doesn’t offend people. You don’t have to steel something from a store to be a criminal, have you downloaded music from websites who don’t take charges, you have already become an IT-criminal. Now you have done some ethical wrong. Those who have put a lot of effort and work in making that music haven’t got paid when you don’t pay for it. People need to think before they do things on internet.

How to protect you and your family.

It is so easy to do bad things on internet, so we should be aware. Take care of your own children and are you a teacher, take care of your pupils too. Schools use computers more and more, pupils don’t know about all bad things that can happen on internet. Not all pupils know about the roules that is on net either. They download everything that looks like it's exiting and fun. Most pupils dont know about all thisAll use on internet leaves tracks from you. Both children and adults should have some restrictions for leaving their names, dates and addresses on internet. In worst cases, wrong people abuse this information, and you lose your identity. I for sure, don’t want people to read all kind of information about my life, take control over my finance or at all take control over my life.

There are many online subscriptions which is free. You save a few bucks, but you can also end up with poor quality, spyware and virus risks.

Here are some examples to understand what's right or wrong 
when it comes to downloading.

Are you a person who does bad ethical things when it comes to internet, I tell you that it's bad and unworthy.  In the end, you have to deside, are you a person who can live with doing bad ethical things, or will you feel bad after you have downloaded your song, film or program.What you can or cannot do and publish on internet is there laws for. Just be aware. There are units in the Police that investigates IT/criminality.

Summarize:

It's very low threshold to become a IT-criminal. Just downloading things from internet, which you havent paid for, is ethical wrong. There are people who have put a lot of effort and work in everything you download. This is things who is ethical wrong. For some people, they doesn't mind doing it, but you can get caught for doing it. Many pupils doesn't know about theese roules, and download just about everything. Police investigates cases with IT/criminality.  

Cultural media.

Some culture aspects of media.

It’s the publisher’s set of values and beliefs informing behaviour that shapes all the mediums. My understanding of the media culture is that they who create and publish on internet shape this medium. People who publish information on internet must have knowledge about rules for what requires. This yields for publishing information, pictures, films, music…

I can see culture with my previous post in my blog. I wrote then about people taking advantage of other, like young kids. They do not have the right to take pictures, or to use or publish them on internet. This is a culture that exists but isn’t allowed. There are many similarities to cultures like this in Medias. It can happen on pictures, phone, or internet. They all have that in common that it isn’t allowed to publish this information without permission from people who are on pictures or films.

Some departs pictures and puts together parts that aren’t real. This can be done just for fun, but in some cases it can be done in bad ways too. It’s then bullying of other people and can be taken very serious.

There are several good sites of culture in the media. This can be for downloading thing from internet. It can be all from downloading a film to see, information you need for education, or the weatherforecast. 

I on the other hand, can share messages to other, publish information or deliver my tasks back to school.

I can publish things in a blog like now, or I can send to one specific person I choose. This is one of the best  things with internet, people can be all around the world, and still have connection with each other. It is global; you can have contact or talk with people. I remember it was nice when my friend lived in Australia for almost a year, and I had connection with her on internet. We could send messages, pictures or chat.

Summarize:

I would like to finish this post with summarising that media like internet can be both good and bad. It’s just what all of us make it to be. People who publish information on internet and use the internet in all kind of activities must have knowledge about all rules for what requires. Some good sides with internet is all you can get out of internet. This could be information, buying things you can't get in your neighborhood, staying in touch with your friends (like my friend who was in Australia for a whole year) and family...
And there is bad sides with internet. That can be things like people is using you, whant to do bad things with you or to take advantage of you. Be aware whwn it is people you don't know. It's easy for those who can do it, to retouch pictures, sound and pictures, so it benefit them selves.

Social media

                   The digital world is a part of our social life.

A fact is that we live in a digital world. Some people think that the computer is their best friend. Is that possible? I say no. Computers cannot tell you when you are wrong or does bad things. Friends do that. Computers only do things it’s told to do.

A computer can make people addictive, just like drugs or alcoholic, but not necessary. If it happens you can go from being a social to an asocial person.

When I write social people I mean people who have direct personally contact with each other in the same room. It isn’t social contact if you only talk to them over internet or phone over time and not being followed up with connection face to face.

Some peoples are not who they say them are. This could happen in real life and on internet. The consequences can quickly be large on the internet. The person girls, boys or you meet on internet isn’t always real. It can be grown ups that use people to get connection and pictures. They could want to use the information later on. People I meet randomly on internet, I doesn’t trust, and isn’t sharing everything with them. Information like that I share with my real friends who I meets and talks to. This is nicer to, they answers my questions and tells me what I need to hear. We can have fun and do other things together at the same time.

Dont trust on everybody!!

Researchers have suggested that 60-70 % of all meaning is derived from nonverbal behavior, like 

Body language. This is just another reason for why people should come more together and talk. There is many internetsites which have advices for to keep the kids safe in the digital world.. 

We need to come in contact with each other, some times we haven’t opportunity to do this in real life and then phone and internet comes in a good second place to have contact.

I mean connection through internet and network is a necessary part of our social life, but it is not enough alone.

Summarize

This blog is about some of the dangers who exists on internet. The video shows a young girl which is dressing up for to meet a young boy. The young boy isn't who he say he is. This is the subject who goes on through this text. We can't trust on all unknown people we hear from on the internet. Bodylanguage is telling us very much about a person. That is difficult to see just from a camera who can be manipulated.
